With a 9,999 tons of barite contained in 1.5 tons big bags, last Tuesday November 29, the Kent Line shipping company “Atlas” freighter docked at the Multipurpose Terminal Port of Dos Bocas, inbound from the port of Safi Morocco.

This cargo, owned by MI Drilling Fluids, is the first large shipment handled in the Port from this oil company, as part of its activities focused on the development of the new drilling fluid plant within the Port assigned by a BOT contract in an area of 13.087 m2.

The discharging, trucking and storage of this material was carried out 24/7 by the specialized port vendor companies, ensuring the supply of this important input for the oil industry.

Allowing the productive infrastructure development and strengthening the specialization of the port community to providing services to the energy sector, the Federal Government, strengthens its commitment to economic development of Mexico.
